The accepted abstracts will be for Poster Presentation.
All abstracts will be forwarded for peer review.
It is a prerequisite that the presenting author register for inclusion in the program.
Authors who submit an abstract but fail to register by May 7th, 2019 will be removed from the program.
We remind you that accepted abstracts of the 27th Congress of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry will be published by WILEY Blackwell in the official journal of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry and therefore citable. (ISSN 0960 7439)
Guidelines for Poster Presentation Submission
- Poster presentation should be submitted via the on-line submission system only.
- All posters presentations must be submitted and presented in English.
- All posters presentation submitted online and will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and notification of acceptance will be sent by email.
- To correct/change a poster presentation that has already been submitted or to submit another poster presentation, please use the log-in and password which you received when you submitted your original poster presentation. This will enable you to access the previously submitted poster presentation/s and to submit an additional poster/s presentation/s.
- Modification of posters presentations will not be possible later than the above deadline.
- The abstract body must structured with the following:
- For Research (or Clinical Governance) Articles
a) Background
b) Aim
c) Design
d) Results
e) Conclusions - For Case Reports
a)Introduction
b) Case reports
c) Comments
- For Research (or Clinical Governance) Articles
- Word count no more than 350.
- Poster size 82cm x 112 cm ( +5 cm).
Submission
All abstracts must be submitted through the on-line submission system accessed through the congress web site. Only abstracts submitted through the system by the specified deadline will be considered for presentation by the Scientific Committee.
Review Process
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and evaluated in terms of their appropriateness and their overall quality. Abstracts will be assessed on their acceptability and eligibility as oral or poster presentations in a constructive and educational way.
Will only be accepted posters presentations that be submitted in the following topics:
- Preventive dentistry;
- Dental anomalies;
- Behavior Guidance;
- Epidemiology/dental public health;
- Dento-alveolar trauma;
- Orthodontics/craniofacial growth and development;
- Periodontology/microbiology;
- Restorative dentistry (including endodontics/operative procedures/dental materials);
- Social science research (including quality of life);
- Oral surgery/oral medicine/oral pathology;
- Education/service evaluation/audit;
- Basic science research;
- Diagnosis/imaging.
